Air conditioning and a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity are optional extras, though powered windows and central locking are offered as standard. Engine and transmission Force Motors uses a Mercedes-Benz-sourced 2.6-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine on most of its products in India, and the Trax Cruiser is no exception. The motor develops a maximum of 90bhp and 250Nm of peak torque. A five-speed manual transmission sends all that power to the rear wheels. Clever gear ratios offer good low-speed tractability and easy highway cruise abilities for a vehicle that is rated to carry over 3 tons of weight.
