Hyundai Nishat's Easy Own programme is giving Pakistani buyers another way to purchase selected cars through structured monthly payments. The current official campaign page lists six eligible nameplates: Elantra Hybrid, Sonata 2.5, Tucson Hybrid, Santa Fe Hybrid, IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6.
The headline attraction is 0% markup, but buyers should read the complete payment schedule before treating the plan as cost-free financing. Hyundai's published tables include substantial down payments and, on several configurations, administrative charges that are either paid in advance or collected through the installments.

Which Hyundai Models Are Included?
The current Easy Own selection covers sedans, hybrid SUVs and electric cars:
| 1 | Hyundai Elantra Hybrid |
|---|---|
| 2 | Hyundai Sonata 2.5 |
| 3 | Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, including Smart FWD and Signature AWD variants |
| 4 | Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, including Smart FWD and Signature AWD variants |
| 5 | Hyundai IONIQ 5, including Smart and Signature variants |
| 6 | Hyundai IONIQ 6, including Smart and Signature variants |
This is not the same as saying every vehicle in Hyundai's wider Pakistan range is eligible. Models such as the Elantra 1.6 Special Edition, Sonata N Line, Palisade Hybrid and Porter H-100 do not appear in the current Easy Own application list. Availability can also change, so the final model and variant must be confirmed with Hyundai before making a payment.
How the 0% Markup Plan Works
Each option begins with a down payment, usually between 30% and 60% depending on the vehicle and selected schedule. The remaining balance is divided across a defined tenure. Published choices range from 12 months to 30 months, although not every tenure is available for every model.
Zero markup means Hyundai is not adding a conventional interest-based markup to the balance under the advertised structure. It does not necessarily mean the total amount paid above the down payment equals only the vehicle's ex-factory price. The official table separately identifies administrative charges, and these charges can materially affect the effective monthly cost.
Before choosing a plan, add the down payment, every installment, advance administrative charges, registration, withholding tax and insurance. The CarvoltX car installment calculator can help compare monthly affordability, while the on-road cost calculator can estimate the expenses that sit outside the advertised vehicle price.
Tucson Hybrid Example
A current Hyundai Islamabad promotion provides a useful example of how the numbers can differ by variant and tenure. It lists the Tucson Hybrid Signature AWD at an ex-factory price of PKR 13,300,000, with a 50% down payment of PKR 6,650,000 and an 18-month installment of PKR 404,444.
For the Tucson Hybrid Smart FWD, the same promotion shows an ex-factory price of PKR 12,202,000 and a 50% down payment of PKR 6,101,000. Buyers can choose an 18-month payment of PKR 363,944 or a 24-month payment starting at PKR 282,125.
Those monthly amounts demonstrate why the complete schedule matters. Multiplying the advertised installment by the tenure produces a figure above the simple remaining half of the ex-factory price, reflecting the plan's additional charges. A written quotation should clearly separate the vehicle balance, administrative charge and any government or insurance costs.
How the Other Plans Differ
Hyundai's official Easy Own page shows a broad range of structures. Elantra Hybrid plans use different down-payment percentages and tenures. Sonata 2.5 is listed with a 50% down payment and options extending up to 24 months. Santa Fe Hybrid uses a 45% down payment in the published schedule, while the two IONIQ electric models offer 30%, 40% and 50% down-payment choices with tenures of up to 30 months.
Longer tenures reduce the monthly burden but may carry a different administrative-charge structure. A lower monthly figure is therefore not automatically the cheapest option overall. Buyers should compare the total payable amount for each tenure rather than deciding from the headline installment alone.
Which Plan Suits Which Buyer?
The Elantra Hybrid and Sonata 2.5 may suit buyers who want a sedan and can manage a large initial payment. Tucson Hybrid provides two drivetrain choices and a balance between family practicality and fuel efficiency. Santa Fe Hybrid targets buyers needing more cabin space and a larger SUV format.
IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 plans may be relevant to drivers ready for a fully electric car, but the purchase decision should include home-charging access and regular travel patterns. Prospective EV buyers can use the CarvoltX EV range estimator and charging-time calculator before selecting a model.
What to Confirm Before Booking
Ask the dealership for a dated quotation that states the ex-factory price, down payment, administrative charges, installment amount, tenure and total payable sum. Also confirm whether insurance is mandatory, whether delivery timing is guaranteed, what happens after a late payment and whether early settlement changes the total.
The Easy Own campaign can make a Hyundai more manageable for buyers with strong upfront cash but limited appetite for conventional bank financing. Its real value, however, depends on the total cost and the buyer's monthly budget. Compare the eligible Hyundai models, calculate every charge and sign only after the full payment schedule is documented.
