Petrol cut by Rs 1.49 on 30 September

Petrol cut by Rs 1.49 on 30 September

Overnight pricing brought a downward revision for 30 September 2026. If you delayed a refill hoping for a cut, check the board before you assume every station has updated stickers.

Petrol is now Rs 387.54 per litre, down Rs 1.49 from Rs 389.03 the day before.

Diesel is now Rs 402.24 per litre after a Rs 2.73 cut from Rs 404.97. Logistics fleets watch this line closely.

Hi-octane (HOBC) remains deregulated by city and oil company. An indicative quote near this revision is around Rs 400 per litre.

A cut is welcome, but it does not erase earlier hikes in the same month. Look at the week's path on the chart before calling the trend finished.

City pump stickers can still differ slightly after local freight and dealer margins. Treat the headline litre price as the national or average reference, then glance at your usual station.

Long-distance drivers may want to note the date stamp before a highway run. Filling just before or after a revision can land you on different sides of the same move.

If you waited for relief before a big refill, confirm the board matches the new rate. Some stations update stickers a little later than the headline figure.

Before you fill up, decide whether you are topping a quarter tank or taking a full load. On a rising day, a smaller top-up limits how much of the new rate you lock in; on a falling day, a fuller tank captures more of the relief.

Always match the calendar date on the chart with the sticker date on the pump. A mismatched day is the usual reason two people argue about today's fuel price in the same city.

Bookmark the Pakistan fuel prices tool if you check rates before a long drive. It stays aligned with the 30 September revision logged here.

Come back to the dated chart after the next notification. Matching the calendar stamp is the simplest way to confirm what actually changed overnight.
