CarvoltX aims to present clear, market-scoped catalogue information so you can compare new cars in the country you select. This page explains how we think about accuracy, blanks, and corrections. It does not replace dealer confirmation.

Market-scoped catalogue

Each market has its own brands, models, trims, and prices. Switching markets does not silently reuse another country’s figures. Currency and formatting follow the market you are viewing. We do not convert prices between countries with exchange rates.

What "price" means on CarvoltX

• Published prices are research values for comparison within that market.
• They may reflect an ex-factory, ex-showroom, or similar published style of figure depending on how that market commonly lists cars.
• They are not a final on-road invoice. Taxes, registration, insurance, and dealer charges can change what you pay.
• If a usable numeric price is not available, we may keep a model in upcoming or leave the price blank rather than invent a number.

Specifications, features, and media

• Spec and feature fields are filled only when we have a published value for that market context.
• Unknown values stay blank. We prefer an empty field over a guessed figure.
• Product photos are intended to represent the model. Gallery size and coverage can vary by model.
• Variant pages may use a model gallery when a dedicated variant gallery is not available.

What can change after we publish

• Manufacturer price lists and promotional periods.
• Trim names, standard equipment, and option packs.
• Powertrain ratings, dimensions, colours, and other published specifications.
• Launch timing and whether a model is treated as upcoming or on sale.

Because of this, always re-check important details with an authorized dealer or distributor before you buy.

Tools and estimates

Calculators and advisors (on-road cost, EMI, range, charging, savings, and similar) use assumptions you can edit. Outputs are estimates for planning, not promises of real-world cost, range, or savings.

Editorial content

Blog posts and similar articles are written for news and explanation. They are separate from catalogue database fields. If an article and a catalogue page disagree, treat the catalogue page as the structured reference, and still verify with a dealer for purchase decisions.

How to report an error

1. Open the car or variant page and use Report incorrect data when available, or
2. Send a message via the contact form (choose Catalogue correction), or
3. Email reachus@carvoltx.com with the page URL and what looks wrong.

Staff review suggestions before any change goes live. We may ask a follow-up question if the report is unclear.

What we will not do

• Invent prices, specifications, or equipment.
• Quietly copy another market’s price into yours.
• Name external listing websites as catalogue sources on public pages.
