Avatr

Avatr is an automotive brand associated with China. Its commonly cited modern founding or brand-launch year is 2018, and its headquarters or principal operating base is in Chongqing. Understanding that background is important because some names began as independent companies, while others were created later as specialist marques within larger automotive groups. Avatr Technology was established in 2018 as a new-energy vehicle venture led by Changan Automobile. Battery specialist CATL became a major strategic partner, while Huawei has supplied intelligent-vehicle technology and digital systems without owning the marque. The company was created to compete in the premium smart-EV segment. Its early vehicles established a visual identity based on smooth bodywork, expressive lighting, minimalist cabins and software-rich user experiences.
