Model overview

The Denza B5 is a body-on-frame plug-in hybrid SUV from BYD's premium Denza brand, and it is still upcoming in Pakistan with no confirmed launch date or price. Overseas it pairs a 1.5-litre turbo engine with front and rear electric motors for full-time four-wheel drive and a combined 400 kW and 760 Nm, enough for 0-100 km/h in about 4.8 seconds. Its 31.8 kWh Blade battery gives roughly 90 km of electric driving on the WLTC cycle, and with the 83-litre fuel tank the combined range is about 850 km. Charging runs at up to 11 kW on AC and 100 kW on DC. For rough ground it has front and rear locking differentials and adjustable suspension, and it holds a five-star ANCAP rating. What Pakistan will get, including trims, local price and battery warranty, has not been announced.
