About MG IM5
Model overview
The MG IM5 is an electric four-door fastback developed with SAIC's IM brand, and it has not been launched in Pakistan; MG's local arm has not announced a price, trims or date. In the UK it comes in three versions. The entry car uses a 75 kWh battery and a 217 kW rear motor for about 304 miles, roughly 489 km, on the WLTP cycle. The Long Range model has a 100 kWh pack and 300 kW for about 441 miles, close to 710 km, and the Performance model adds a second motor for 553 kW and all-wheel drive. The 100 kWh cars can charge at up to 396 kW on suitable chargers. For Pakistan, the key unknowns are which battery would be offered, the price against other premium electric saloons, the charging support MG would provide and the length of the battery warranty.
