Model overview
BYD's Atto 2 is the brand's most affordable crossover on our Pakistan list at PKR 72.90 lac, which puts it in the same price zone as many petrol compact SUVs. For that money you get a 174 hp motor, 290 Nm and a 45.12 kWh battery with a quoted 380 km NEDC range, fine for city commuting and occasional intercity use. Six airbags, a 360-degree camera and traction control add real value. It suits a first-time EV buyer who mostly drives in town and can charge at home. Bear in mind that NEDC numbers tend to be optimistic in Pakistani summers, and 150 mm ground clearance calls for care over badly built speed breakers.
