XPeng will launch the L03 REEV in Pakistan on 12 October 2026, adding another range-extended electric vehicle to the local market. Ahead of the launch, XPeng has shared the headline range and charging claims. The price has not been announced. Pricing, the booking amount, variants and the full local specification are due at the launch event, so treat any figure you see before then with caution.
What XPeng has confirmed for Pakistan
| Item | Claimed figure |
|---|---|
| Electric-only range | 250 km |
| Combined range (battery plus range extender) | About 1,100 km |
| DC fast charging | Up to 123 kW |
| Charging time | 10% to 90% in about 20 minutes |
| Launch date | 12 October 2026 |

These are manufacturer claims. The test cycle behind the range figures has not been stated for Pakistan, so do not compare them directly with WLTP or CLTC numbers quoted for other cars.
How a range-extended EV works
A REEV is driven by electric motors. A small petrol engine acts as a generator to top up the battery when it runs low, rather than driving the wheels directly. In practice, that means short daily trips can be done on electricity alone, while long journeys can continue on petrol without waiting for a charger. Background from XPeng's global material: on the L03, the range extender sits under the bonnet, where the pure electric version has a front boot.
For Pakistan, the appeal is obvious. Many city commutes fit inside a claimed 250 km of electric range, and motorway trips do not depend on finding a fast charger at every stop.
Charging: what 123 kW means in practice
XPeng claims the battery can go from 10% to 90% in around 20 minutes on a DC fast charger, under suitable conditions. Real charging times depend on charger output, battery temperature and other conditions. The car can only charge as fast as the charger allows, so check the output of the chargers you will actually use. Our EV charging time calculator and EV trip planner can help.
What is still unknown
| 1 | Price in PKR and the booking amount. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Variants and trim levels offered in Pakistan. |
| 3 | Battery capacity and the test cycle behind the range claims. |
| 4 | Warranty terms, especially for the battery and range extender. |
| 5 | Delivery timelines and after-sales network. |
What buyers should do now
| 1 | Wait for the official price before paying any booking amount. |
|---|---|
| 2 | When the price is out, ask for a dated written quotation that separates the ex-factory price, taxes and registration. |
| 3 | Ask which fuel grade the range extender needs and how long the battery warranty runs. |
| 4 | Compare against other electrified options on CarVoltX compare, and browse the XPeng lineup in Pakistan. |
Bottom line
On paper, the XPeng L03 REEV offers a useful mix for Pakistan: a claimed 250 km of electric driving for daily use and about 1,100 km in total for long trips. Whether it makes sense depends entirely on a price XPeng has not yet revealed. We will update once the launch figures are official.
